The App: The Technical Stuff

We’ve got a lot going on under the hood at Our developers are always working on new features and updates. We want to give our users the best possible experience when using our apps and we always iterate on feedback given to us by our community. Below is a list of common questions that get poised to our development team.

Do I have to pay for updates or development?

You don’t need to pay for updates. We’re constantly reviewing our software, adding new templates and releasing new features at no extra cost to you. We release our code automatically to your app, so when you create your app you get all the updates we’ve implemented in the past. Any new features automatically show up in your account.  

When you log in to your account your app will automatically talk to our servers. It will find any new updates we’ve released and instantly install them on your app. This is so quick you won’t even see it happen!  

(Note from Alvaro - You don’t pay for updates or development. We do all of that. But if you’d like to promote your product on social media you will have to cover those marketing costs)

Do I need to write any code?

Our goal with the app was to create an app builder anyone can use. You don’t need to know any code. You can make your application with the help of your browser and our drag and drop editor. We’ve made a variety of widgets that you can use to instantly construct your own mobile app.

Are my apps secure?

Security is our top priority. We built the app from the ground up to make sure our apps, subscribers, and our members’ areas are all secure. We only offer chosen widgets in our applications that have the maximum possible security level.

We host our servers on one of the three big cloud providers to guarantee our customers’ security. Payments happen in the app store not on our site and all our URLs and API’s are SSL secured.  

Can you handle the load?

Yes! Because the app software is hosted on the largest public cloud cluster in the world we have virtually unlimited ability to scale in real-time. Whether you send 100 visitors or 100,000+ today, it won't slow us down! Also, your apps are hosted in the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. If you have enough load to crash the global app stores, we would like to get to know you in person.  

Can I host the apps myself?

No, we're a hosted, "platform-as-a-service" platform. Hosting your app on your own servers isn’t possible. Your app is hosted in the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. We do this so you can get all of our updates and new features.

We do this because we want to make sure your apps won't break. We want to ensure the highest compatibility and security for our experts and hosting an app by yourself on your own is a big drain on resources.

Can I integrate my favorite shopping carts with a app? can connect with a variety of third-party checkouts using Zapier. You can also customize your own sales page on the web and set up integrations with your preferred shopping carts.

Inside your app, you can only take payments in the form of in-app purchases. These purchases can be customized with the Passion App Builder. We have a manual for Zapier and Clickfunnels integrations, you can reach out to our support team for help.
