Toogie teaches the art of movement with her own app

Teresa (Toogie) Barcelo is a professional dancer, artist and master teacher with decades of experience in the entertainment industry. Using Passion.io, she’s helped students around the world develop better habits and a deeper understanding of their own bodies.

Originally a dancer herself, Toogie came to realize that her approach to movement and body awareness could be used universally. She explains, “I’ve always felt most in my purpose when guiding others into embodiment in my own unique way.”

Staying true to her methods led her to work with some of the world's biggest stars with amazing results. It was these experiences that inspired her search for a way to reach more people.

“I want to make myself accessible to the rest of the world so that I can continue to spread the bliss that comes from listening to our incredible bodies.”

Unlocking her passion with her own app

Toogie describes her app as “grounding and genuinely supportive”. And it’s her years of teaching and choreography experience that keep students engaged. She adds, “I’m not putting on a performance. It’s my true intention to help people move into agency. I am offering space for observation, experimentation, freedom and permission to be.”
